This set is composed of a screw handle and a Vergez Blanchard diamond-shaped blade (diamond tip) sharpened by us. The blade is delivered perfectly sharpened to pierce the leather and make a saddle stitch seam.

The screw handle allows you to change the blade easily and adjust the length of the blade by tucking it more or less into the handle.
The handle is made of wood with a steel ring.
Blade assembly :
- Slightly loosen the handle.
- Insert the blade to the desired length.
- Exert pressure on the rear screw and tighten the handle.

As it is used, the awl will need to be re-sharpened. For optimal use, we advise you to refine the sharpening regularly using a strop and sharpening paste.
