SHARPENED DIAMOND AWL
Deco Cuir offers this exclusive set, allowing you to assemble a ready-to-use diamond awl.
This set includes a screw handle and a sharpened Vergez Blanchard diamond-shaped blade (diamond point), prepared by us. The blade is perfectly sharpened to pierce leather and create a saddle stitch.
The screw handle allows you to easily change blades and adjust the blade's length by inserting it more or less into the handle.
The handle is made of wood with a steel ferrule.
Blade assembly:
- Slightly loosen the handle.
- Insert the blade to the desired length.
- Apply pressure to the rear screw and retighten the handle.

- Handle length: 11.5 cm
- Maximum handle diameter: 2.8 cm
- Blade length: approximately 3.8 cm
- Maximum blade width: 2.6 mm x 1.4 mm
Over time, the awl will need to be resharpened. For optimal use, we recommend regularly refining the sharpening using a strop and sharpening paste.
