HANDLE FOR HOT STAMPING ON LEATHER
Easily personalize your leather creations by adding a name, brand, date, or any other message with this hot stamping handle with an integrated character holder. It is suitable for hot stamping on both vegetable-tanned and mineral-tanned leather.
This handle is equipped with a heating cartridge and is used with ADECE power supplies with a 3-pin XRL connection output. It is compatible with all Deco Cuir brass characters (letters, numbers, symbols).
The heating element is directly embedded in the brass character holder, and the amount of material is minimized to achieve faster temperature rise and optimal heating homogeneity across all characters.
Usage:
- Insert the brass characters into the character holder (the dot below each letter indicates the bottom of that letter). Then tighten them with the 2 side screws using an Allen key.
Be aware of the mirror effect: the characters are inserted in reverse reading order. The beginning of the word is on the right of the character holder. You can check in a mirror if the word is correctly reflected.
- Set the power supply to the desired temperature, wait a few minutes to achieve temperature homogenization across all brass characters.
- Apply the characters to your leather while maintaining perfect verticality.
For an even more decorative and shiny effect, it is possible to use foil transfer paper. Cut a small piece and place the shiny side up. Set the temperature between 100 and 120 °C.
It is highly recommended to perform tests on a scrap piece of the same leather to fine-tune the settings.
Features:
- High-temperature black plastic handle with a diameter of 30 mm.
- Hypoallergenic material that does not transmit heat (cork).
- 3-pin XLR plug for connection to the power supply.
- 2 m long high-temperature wire.
- Straight cable outlet at the back of the handle.
- Tool length: 230 mm.
