The blade must be inserted at the end of the handle into the hole. For some blades, it will be necessary to enlarge the hole.
This awl handle is made from boxwood because this wood is renowned for being one of the hardest woods. It has natural characteristics that make each tool unique without altering its strength and durability: irregular veining, coloring, knots or even small cracks.
