This wooden awl handle, set with a polished brass ring, has a very beautiful finish. A part of the handle is flat to ensure a good grip. This will allow you to hold the tool in the same way every time and guarantee a constant angle for your stitching. The thread and the clamping screw are made of stainless steel, which will prevent any corrosion problems and give your tool a maximum lifespan.

The awl handle is supplied with 2 chucks. These metal chucks are reversible and have a specific diameter at each end. This gives you 4 different diameters to adapt your awl blade. Most of the awl blades available on the market are compatible with this handle. Wooden handle (Cocobolo or Bocote depending on arrival)

Of course, for optimal use, we recommend Barry King Tools blades.

The blade must be mounted gently. Choose the chuck best suited to your blade. Loosen the screw, insert the blade into the chuck, and then tighten. For a good hold of the blade, we advise you to use a 3/8" wrench for perfect tightening.
If you do not have this tool, an adjustable wrench or multi-grip pliers will allow you to perform the operation.

This handle is sold without a blade.
