Leather Deco Info: Labels, writing, or markings may be present on the back of the leather, as it was intended for sampling and presentation of the hides. We advise you not to remove the labels to avoid damaging the leather. These are very thin and will not be visible once the leather is assembled. The quality of the hides has been checked, but there may still be some minor defects such as slight folds and small holes that do not prevent the use of most of the piece.
The pieces will not be individually identified, so they cannot be reordered individually at a later date. Batches are prepared in advance and randomly; it is not possible to request a specific selection.
The photos show examples of lots, but the photos are not contractually binding as each lot is unique.
For maintenance, we recommend Reptan cream from Saphir, reference WA024.
CITES: The sale of Elaphe Carinata snake leather is not regulated by the Washington Convention (CITES). Deco Cuir will provide you with all the information on your invoice to ensure the traceability of the products sold.
Snake leather info: The Elaphus Carinata snake is an exotic snake that belongs to the Calobridae family. An impressive adult, it generally measures between 1.50m and 2m. It can be aggressive but is not dangerous to humans. This snake is mainly sourced from breeding farms for the sale of its meat in Asia, its leather is then valued. This snake leather is cut in a front cut, that is to say it is cut at the belly, to keep the dorsal scales intact.
