Angelus paints are quality paints with a high pigment content. It is important to thoroughly homogenize the paint by shaking the bottle vigorously before use. Some colors are difficult to mix and small clumps may appear during application. Simply smooth them out with a brush to make them disappear. This is normal and does not constitute a quality defect.

TIPS FOR USE ON SHOES:
- It is very important to prepare your shoe before applying the paint for optimal results. Clean it thoroughly, even if it is new. You can use the Angelus leather preparer and deglazer (ref. WA056).
Do not use the preparer on surfaces other than leather (plastic soles, rubber edges...)
For very smooth leather such as patent leather, you can very lightly sand the surface with very fine sandpaper to ensure good paint adhesion.
- When painting, be sure to apply very thin coats to avoid cracking when drying. The paint is applied with a brush. Allow the Angelus paint to dry thoroughly between coats. Never dry the paint with a hairdryer, as it may crack.
- Fix and protect your paint with an Angelus finish. We recommend applying 2 or 3 coats. This will significantly reduce wear and scratches on your leather.

Brushes can be cleaned with soapy water or with a brush cleaner (Ref. WA075).
