LEATHER SMOOTH AND SPATULA

This 3-in-1 tool is ideal for achieving shiny edges and a professional finish on your leather creations.

The spatula is used to apply edge paint, a finishing gum (e.g., Tokonole, gum arabic, gum tragacanth, etc.) or a wax to the edge of the leather. The spatula is also ideal for applying a finishing gum to the crust of the leather to bond the fibers and prevent lint.
Polishing grooves allow you to smooth and shine the edges of your leather after applying your edge finishing product. The three groove widths allow you to adapt to different leather thicknesses.
The tip of the spatula allows you to create a decorative line of 1 mm (use cold for vegetable tanned leather or hot for mineral tanned leather). You can also create a wider line using the flat side of the spatula and using a ruler for a smooth finish.

The wooden handle is ergonomic for a good grip and the part with the smoother and spatula is made of hardened steel.

This tool can be used cold or hot.
Used hot, it makes your leather slices even shinier. You can heat the metal part on a gas stove, for example; this operation should be repeated regularly as it cools. Be careful not to get the tool too hot.
