BONE FOLDER FOR LEATHER
This tool, called a folder or sometimes a bone folder, is made of white bone.The elongated bone folder, with one pointed end and the other rounded, has a thinned but non-cutting edge used to lightly mark the flesh side of the leather to facilitate folding, to fold down the edge after gluing and lifting, to push out the corners of seams when assembling inside out, to avoid bubbles during gluing, and to firmly apply leather, fabric, or paper in case making, etc.
