Usage tips:
- Use an ERTALON plate, a vinyl plate, or a self-healing mat as a cutting surface.
- Your chisel must be perfectly vertical when you strike.
- Strike with a wooden or polymer mallet; it should be heavy enough for precise and less tiring cutting. Do not use a steel hammer. With one mallet stroke, you mark several holes in the leather for your stitching. You can also completely pierce thin leathers (max 1mm).
- When you want to mark thick leathers, do not hesitate to put a thin layer of beeswax on the teeth to facilitate gliding and prevent damaging the chisel.
Hardened steel blade.- When you want to mark thick leathers, do not hesitate to put a thin layer of beeswax on the teeth to facilitate gliding and prevent damaging the chisel.
Very high wear resistance.
