CLAW COUTURE DIAMOND TIP LEATHER
These striking claws are used to mark the interval of the stitching points on the leather in order to have beautiful, regular saddle stitch seams. The mark made is diamond shaped ( diamond point ).The center distance between each point is 3 mm . Ideal for small leather goods.

Usage tips :
- Use an ERTALON plate, vinyl plate or self-healing mat as a cutting support.
- Your claw must be vertical when you strike.
- Strike with a wooden or polymer mallet, it must be heavy enough for a precise and less tiring cut. Do not use a steel hammer. With a stroke of the mallet, you mark several holes in the leather to make your seams. You can also completely cross thin leathers (1mm maximum).
- When you want to mark thick leathers, do not hesitate to put a thin layer of beeswax on the teeth to make it easier to slide and not risk damaging the claw.

Which center distance to choose for my creation ?
The center distance is the distance between two points: it must be chosen according to the item you wish to create (aesthetic choice).
The different center distance / wire diameter combinations give different aesthetic results: the choice is yours!
