4-IN-1 STRIKING PRONG - HAND LEATHER SEWING

This set contains 1 striking handle and 4 screw-on hardened steel prongs: one 1-tooth prong, one 2-tooth prong, one 4-tooth prong, and one 6-tooth prong.
These prongs are used to pierce leather to create beautiful, regular saddle stitches. They will create diamond-shaped holes (diamond point) in your leather.

Three spacing options to choose from:
- 3.5 mm spacing for small items (e.g., binding, small leather goods) - Space between teeth: 2 mm (5/64")
- 4.5 mm spacing for medium items (e.g., leather goods) - Space between teeth: 3 mm (1/8")
- 6 mm spacing for large items (e.g., upholstery, harness making, luggage) - Space between teeth: 4 mm (5/32")

Spacing is the distance between two points: it should be chosen according to the item you wish to create (aesthetic choice).

Dimensions:
- Handle length: 90 mm
- Handle diameter: 11 mm
- Tooth width: 2.8 mm

Two methods of use:
- By striking the handle with a wooden or polymer mallet (steel hammers are not recommended). We recommend using an ERTALON cutting board for a clean cut (do not use the punch on a metallic surface as it may damage the cutting edge).
- With the Craftplus 3960 manual press and the 3993-01 prong adapter.
