6-IN-1 STRIKING CLAW - LEATHER LACING
This set contains 1 striking handle and 6 screw-on hardened steel claws.
This tool is used to mark straight stitches on the leather to create even lacing.
You will find 3 sizes of teeth:
- Tooth width: approximately 1.5 mm (1/16")
- Tooth width: approximately 2.5 mm (3/32")
- Tooth width: approximately 3 mm (1/8")
Each tooth size is available in 1-tooth and 3-tooth claws.
Dimensions :
- Handle length: 80 mm
- Handle diameter: 11 mm
Two methods of use :
- By hitting the handle with a wooden or polymer mallet ( steel hammers are not recommended ). We recommend using an ERTALON cutting plate to ensure a clean cut (do not use the cutter on a metal surface as this may damage the cutting edge).
- With the Craftplus 3960 hand press and the 3993-01 claw adapter .
