DECO LEATHER STROP MADE IN FRANCE
This large strop will allow you to "leather" sharpen all your cutting tools, from knives to razors, to obtain a perfectly sharp blade. It is particularly suitable if you need to sharpen a half-moon knife.
On the wooden board, one side is covered with a vegetable collar leather, thickness: 2.5 mm minimum, grain side to finish sharpening the blade.
The other side is covered with leather on the split side (the color may vary depending on arrivals) to wipe the blade.
The paste must be deposited on the piece of leather previously oiled with fine oil (sold in stores) by rubbing the stick vigorously.
You must then pass the blade over the leather alternately front then back and respecting the edge of the cut to gradually sharpen the steel of the blade.
Tip: for the first sharpening starting with water paper (500 grit to start and finish at 1000 grit)
