STROP DECO LEATHER MADE IN FRANCE
This large strop will allow you to maintain the "leather" sharpening of all your cutting tools, from knives to razors, to obtain a perfectly sharp blade.
On the wooden board, one side is covered with vegetable leather, thickness: 2.5 mm minimum, grain side for wiping the blade.
The other side is covered with a leather crust/flesh side (the color may vary depending on arrivals) to apply the polishing paste in order to sharpen your blade (maintain the edge of the blade) .
The paste should be placed on the piece of leather (flesh side) previously oiled with sharpening oil by rubbing the stick vigorously.
You then need to pass the blade over the leather alternately front and back, respecting the cutting edge to gradually sharpen the steel of the blade.
Tip : For the first sharpening, start with wet paper (500 grit to start and finish with 1000 grit).
