LARGE METAL CLASP FOR BAG

This large clasp is ideal for creating a secure closure for your handbags, travel bags and other leather creations.

The two parts of the clasp fit into each other, closing is done by turning the 3 buttons.

Material: Zamac
Finish: Light gold, aged brass or nickel plated

Dimensions :
- Maximum dimensions of the closed clasp (width x height): 76 x 68 mm
- Maximum height (with buttons): 25 mm
- Maximum recommended leather thickness: 3.8 mm for the upper part and 1.8 mm for the lower part.
If you have thinner leather, you need to add a reinforcement behind.

Clasp assembly :
- For the upper part: Cut 3 rectangles in the leather of 14 x 20 mm + make 3 holes of 4 mm for the screws. Screw the 2 parts together.
- For the lower part (with the buttons): Make 3 holes of 4 mm for the screws. Screw the 2 parts together.

Don't hesitate to do a test on a piece of leather to properly measure the cuts to be made!
