GUIDE TO SHARPENING A SQUARE
This support allows you to easily and quickly sharpen the blades to restore their original sharpness.
To adapt to different sizes of chamfers, this template includes 6 strips of leather of 3 different thicknesses :
- Two strips approximately 1.9 mm thick
- Two strips approximately 2.7 mm thick
- Two strips approximately 3.8 mm thick
The wooden support is equipped with 4 non-slip pads to stabilize the board on your work surface.
The relief of the leather strips is ideal for straight and EASY edge guards (not compatible with French edge shades).
Manual :
- Place sharpening paste on the leather strips. Choose a coarser grain at the start of sharpening then finer and finer until the ideal edge is obtained.
- Slide your shade by pulling it towards you.
