GUIDE FOR SHARPENING EDGERS
This jig has 2 sides for easily sharpening all types of edgers, even French edgers!
The side numbered from 0 to 6 allows you to sharpen Easy, Bevel, and Straight edgers. The 7 grooves are of different sizes; you will need to choose the one that best matches the bevel of your edger. The numbers indicated on the jig do not necessarily correspond to the size of your edger.
The side with the 6 flat grooves allows you to sharpen French edgers. The numbers indicated on the jig correspond to the width in millimeters: 4 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, and 20 mm.
Usage tips:
Place an abrasive sheet on the sharpening jig.
Then sharpen your edger according to its bevel size by pulling it towards you.
For finishing, you can use a piece of leather covered with polishing paste to achieve a perfect edge.
