FORM TO MARK LEATHER
The design of this former is inspired by the tools of the trunk maker. Light, ergonomic and resistant, it allows you to create a very straight line on your vegetable tanned leather . Thanks to the 4 different notches, you can mark a line at 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm and 3 mm from the edge of the leather. The line made allows you to make a decoration or serve as a guide to mark the location of the sewing holes.
This former is made of boxwood because this wood is reputed to be one of the hardest woods. It has natural characteristics that make each tool unique: irregular veining, coloring, knots and even small cracks.

This tool only works on vegetable tanned leather. On mineral tanned leathers, the marking will be less clear and will fade over time.
