Intermediate level: to attend this training, you must have a good command of your sewing machine (domestic or semi-professional). Please note: you must bring your sewing machine on the day of the training. If you do not have a sewing machine, please contact us to inquire about machine rental (€15/person).

Level: Intermediate
Price: €130, which includes tuition and materials for making a Séverine bag.
Location: At our physical store in Campbon (44), located between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire in Loire-Atlantique.
Duration: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Number of participants: 4 people maximum
If you are a group of 4, you can contact us for a private workshop.

Materials and tools provided by Deco Cuir:
- Double-sided, tear-resistant adhesive tape

- 1 full-size pattern
- 1 spool of #30 polyester thread

- 1 snap hook, 10 mm
- 1 half-round ring, 10 mm
- 2 Chicago screws, 9 mm
- Eyelets, 8 mm

Bag dimensions: Height: 27 cm - Length: 31 cm - Width: 11 cm

On the program: Pattern making, cutting, and assembly of the Séverine bag using a sewing machine.

What you will need to bring:
- Your lunch: a refrigerator and microwave will be available (as well as a dining area).
- A fabric lining: preferably cotton. Lining dimensions: 55 x 75 cm.
- Your sewing machine: we recommend doing preliminary tests on leather scraps to see how your machine reacts. Feel free to consult our blog post on "How to sew leather with a machine?". You cannot sew leather with an entry-level domestic machine (e.g., Silvercrest).
You will then need to equip yourself with at least a Teflon presser foot (for sale on our website, ref. CA149) and #100/110 leather sewing machine needles (for sale on our website, ref. CA136_N100).

During the training, Deco Cuir will not be held responsible for machine "malfunctions" or any damage.

Our trainer, Lucie, is an experienced professional seamstress who worked for a subcontractor of a major leather goods brand. Today, she is a textile and fashion accessories designer, working with fabrics or leather. She will give you all the tips for sewing leather with a good domestic machine and answer all your questions.

The little extra: The Deco Cuir store is accessible during the training. You will receive a 15% discount on all your in-store purchases on the day of the event: take advantage of it to leave with all the materials you need.

Information:
- If you add the "paper catalog" (free) to your order in the cart, shipping fees will be charged. We advise you to wait until the day of the training to discover it.
- If the number of participants is insufficient, DECO CUIR reserves the right to cancel the training.
- Any withdrawal reported at least three weeks before the workshop will not result in a refund unless another trainee takes the available spot.

Training not eligible for CPF.
