PROTECTIVE AND HARDENING FINISH FOR LEATHER
The leather hardening fixative has 2 functions:
Fixative : it fixes the colors of the dyes applied to the vegetable tanned leather. In addition, it provides protection to your leather by making it waterproof.
Hardener : if you want to firm up soft leather, simply apply it to the split side of the leather (on the back of the flower): the varnish has a hardening function. The hardener will also allow you to smooth the crust of the leather by sticking the fibers and thus giving it a more finished appearance.
Tips for use :
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- To fix the dye : apply the product in a thin layer on the grain of the vegetable tanned leather after having applied the dye and leave to dry (24 hours). Apply a second coat if necessary.
- To "harden the leather" : apply the product in a thin layer on the split side of the leather to bond the fibers and firm them (suitable for all types of leather). Apply a second coat if necessary. Leave to dry for 24 hours.
- Clean tools with soap and water.
Colour: colorless, gives a satin finish to the leather
Water-based product.
Do not use on suede or nubuck leather
