The "Fil au Chinois" leather goods thread is a sewing thread made of 70% high-resistance polyester, which is then coated with 30% cotton fibers during the spinning process.
It is then twisted into 2 strands, dyed, and glazed to allow it to slide smoothly during sewing and provide additional protection to the thread.
This "LEATHER GOODS SPECIAL" cord is ideal for machine stitching but can also be used by hand.
