TURNSTILE CLOSURE - RECTANGLE CLOSURE FOR LEATHER BAG
The two parts of the clasp fit into each other, closing is done by turning the button.
Easy assembly and disassembly without installation tools thanks to small tabs which fold over the parts.
Material: Steel
2 finishes to choose from: Aged Brass or Nickel Plated
Dimensions :
- Maximum dimensions of the closed clasp: 30 x 16 mm
- Maximum thickness with button: 12.5 mm
- Maximum recommended leather thickness: 3 mm (if you have thinner leather, you must add a reinforcement behind)
Sold complete with the plates required for fixing - 5 pieces in total
Clasp assembly :
► For the upper part:
- Cut a square in the leather of 9 x 19 mm
- Place the plate then spread the legs of the clasp (as for a Parisian fastener) to hold the leather
► For the lower part (with the button):
- You just need to make two straight notches of 4 mm
- Place the plate then spread the legs of the twist clasp (as for a Parisian fastener) to hold the leather
Don't hesitate to do a test on a piece of leather to measure the notches to be made!
