MAGNETIC BAG CLASP

Each clasp is made up of 4 parts.

Dimensions :
- Diameter 17 mm
- Thickness of the upper part: 7.2 mm
- Thickness of lower part: 10 mm
- Leg length: 8 mm

Assembly instructions :
- For the upper part: Drill a 10 mm diameter hole with a round punch. Insert the two washers on either side of the leather. Place a piece of sacrificial leather on the washer (to prevent the mallet from damaging the metal) , then strike with a wooden or polymer mallet to crimp the two washers together.
Recommended leather thickness for this part: 2 to 3 mm (if your leather is thin, you can add an extra layer for optimal tightening).
- For the lower part: Make two slits in the leather to insert the male part of the clasp. Insert the back plate and then fold the tabs over the back of the leather.
