The two parts of the clasp fit into each other, closing is done by turning the button.

Maximum dimensions of the closed clasp: 40 x 40 mm
Maximum height: 35mm
Maximum recommended leather thickness: between 2 and 3 mm (if you have thinner leather, you can add a reinforcement behind).

Clasp assembly :
For the upper part: cut a notch in a triangle of 20 mm on the side + three notches of 2 mm for the screws and then screw the two parts to hold the leather.
For the lower part (with the button): you just have to make three notches of a few millimeters, place the plate and spread the legs of the clasp (like for a Parisian fastener) to hold the leather.
Do not hesitate to do a test on a scrap of leather to properly measure the notches to be made!

Sold with the screws and the plate necessary for fixing.
