SQUARE TURNSTILE CLOSURE FOR LEATHER BAG
Add a touch of originality and modernity to the closure of your bag with this square twist clasp.
The two parts of the clasp fit into each other, closing is done by turning the button.
Material: Zamac
Finish: Light gold or nickel plated
Dimensions :
- Maximum dimensions of the closed clasp: 19 x 19 mm
- Maximum height (with button): 11 mm
- Length of claws: 9 mm
- Maximum recommended leather thickness: 3.5 mm (if you have thinner leather, you must add a reinforcement behind)
Clasp assembly :
- For the upper part: Cut out a rectangle in the leather of 13 x 8 mm and below another rectangle of 8 x 5 mm + make 2 holes of 2 mm for the screws (see the photo "cutting out the upper part"). Screw the 2 parts together.
- For the lower part (with the button): Make two 4 mm slots for inserting the tabs. Place the steel plate and spread the tabs of the clasp (as for a Parisian fastener) to hold the leather.
Don't hesitate to do a test on a piece of leather to properly measure the cuts to be made!
