METAL ZIPPER BY THE METER - NICKEL-PLATED

Robust and durable, this metal zipper with a nickel-plated finish is ideal for all your sewing projects: bags, wallets, pouches, cushions, toiletry bags, clothing, etc.

Specially developed for Deco Cuir, the Supra range is distinguished by its superior quality. It features individually molded and polished teeth to ensure optimal gliding.

Sold by the meter, this zipper allows you to cut the exact length you need, thus limiting waste and offering great flexibility for all your projects.

Assembly tips :

• Cut the zipper to the desired length, allowing a 1 cm margin on each side
• If you wish, you can finish the ends of the tape: make a few overlock stitches with a machine or coat the end with glue to prevent fraying.
• Use the tool (reference: TB376) to remove a few teeth from the top and bottom to clear the space.
• Insert the first top stop around a single row of teeth (one side at a time). Position it on the last tooth at the top. Firmly crush the metal stop with flat-nose pliers (reference: TB112). Tighten gradually, checking the hold. Repeat on the other side.
• Insert the slider adapted to the correct tooth width. To facilitate assembly, we recommend using a tool to place the slider on the zipper (reference: TB253). To do this, open the teeth in two and insert the slider from the bottom. Be careful not to remove too many teeth to avoid misalignment. Gradually slide the slider upwards.
• Place the bottom stop (X-shaped) straddling both tapes, just below the last tooth. Crimp the metal stop with the flat-nose pliers.
• Check that the slider can no longer pass before sewing the zipper onto your creation.

Note : One unit = 10 cm
For example, if you want 100 cm (1 meter) of zipper, you need to order 10 units. If you order several meters, we will try to provide it in one continuous piece, but due to reel changes, your desired length may be divided into 2 pieces. In all cases, we guarantee pieces of at least 2 meters.
