SMALL SQUARE FOR LEATHERWORK

Drawing a clean right angle, a regular stitching line, easily finding the center of a strap, or checking a measurement – this small square does all that and fits in the palm of your hand. Developed by Deco Cuir and made in France, this small square is designed to simplify your leatherwork, whether you're starting your first project or looking to save time on large production runs.

This small square, made of rigid acrylic, is composed of two parts: a transparent part with various measurements and a black part that creates an overhang to brace the square against the edge of your leather and allow it to slide smoothly. A real advantage for projects with long lengths like belts, saddlery pieces, etc.

This tool combines several functions:
1. Drawing perfect right angles.
2. Measuring accurately up to 50 mm thanks to the millimeter graduations.
3. Finding the center of a strap: locate the graduation indicating the width of the strap and follow the line connecting it to a hole that is exactly in the center. Ideal for making holes in a leather belt or for forming a loop, for example.
4. Drawing a stitching line 2 to 4 mm from the edge of your leather: five guide holes (2 / 2.5 / 3 / 3.5 / 4 mm) allow you to insert a silver pen and then slide the square along the edge of the leather to obtain a perfectly parallel stitching line from one end of the piece to the other.
