METAL ZIPPER SLIDER JIG
This metal slider jig makes it easy to attach your continuous zippers, without stopping (without a stopper) and prevents damage to the teeth. Designed as a "third hand," it holds the slider in place while you pull the zipper with both hands.
The tool comes with 3 interchangeable bars, each with two slots for use with various slider sizes.
The #8 and #10 bars are made of steel and are slightly thicker than the other two bars for added strength.
The clamping arm can be adjusted in height using a screw system, allowing you to adjust the position of the bars according to your workbench setup.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
- Secure the tool to your workbench (compatible with thicknesses up to 5 cm). The screw clamp provides excellent stability.
- Attach one of the bars (corresponding to the size of your slider) using the 2 screws provided.
- Before installing the slider, identify the direction of the zipper. The hollow side corresponds to the bottom. The curved side to the top.
- Position the slider in one of the slots. The slider should be placed "upside down" (pull tab facing down).
- Slide both sides of the zipper into the slider, then gently pull the zipper, making sure to respect the offset of the teeth.
