- Steel hammers are not recommended. Prefer a wooden or polymer mallet.
- When using small diameter cookie cutters (less than 4 mm), depending on the leather used (density, thickness, etc.), the leather cutout may tend to get stuck in the evacuation channel of the tool. In order to prevent it from clogging badly, we advise you to remove the cutouts regularly using a small metal rod (round tip needle, round awl, etc.).
- You can also make cutting the tool easier by putting a little beeswax on the cutting edge of the cookie cutter before each use.
