Deco Cuir Tips:
- We recommend using the ERTALON cutting board for perfect work.
- Steel hammers are not recommended. Prefer a wooden or polymer mallet.
- When using small diameter punches (less than 4 mm), depending on the leather used (density, thickness, ...), the leather cutout may tend to get stuck in the tool's evacuation channel. To prevent it from getting severely blocked, we advise you to regularly remove the cutouts using a small metal rod (round-tipped needle, round awl, ...).
- You can also facilitate the tool's cut by putting a little beeswax on the cutting edge of the punch before each use.
