Deco Cuir Tips:
- We recommend using the ERTALON cutting board for perfect work.
- Steel hammers are not recommended. Prefer a wooden or polymer mallet.
- When using small diameter punches (less than 4 mm), depending on the leather used (density, thickness, ...), the leather cut may tend to get stuck in the tool's evacuation channel. To prevent it from getting heavily clogged, we advise you to regularly remove the cuts using a small metal rod (round-tip needle, round awl, ...).
- You can also facilitate the cutting of the tool by putting a little beeswax on the cutting edge of the punch before each use.
