Deco Cuir Tips:
- We recommend using the ERTALON cutting plate for perfect work.
- Steel hammers are not recommended. Prefer a wooden or polymer mallet.
- When using small diameter punches (less than 4 mm), depending on the leather used (density, thickness, ...), the leather cutout may tend to get stuck in the tool's evacuation channel. To prevent it from clogging severely, we advise you to remove the cutouts regularly using a small metal rod (round-end needle, round awl, ...).
- You can also facilitate the tool's cutting by putting a little beeswax on the cutting edge of the punch before each use.
