Deco Cuir Tips:
- We recommend using the ERTALON cutting board for perfect work.
- Steel hammers are not recommended. Prefer a wooden or polymer mallet.
- When using small diameter punches (less than 4 mm), depending on the leather used (density, thickness, ...), the leather cut-out may tend to get stuck in the tool's evacuation channel. To prevent it from getting severely blocked, we advise you to remove the cut-outs regularly with a small metal rod (round-tipped needle, round awl, ...).
- You can also facilitate the tool's cutting by putting a little beeswax on the cutting edge of the punch before each use.
