ROUND LEATHER PUNCH

This steel punch allows you to make a round cut in your leather.
Unlike classic punches, this model is composed of an industrial tool bit mounted on a handle. This design ensures excellent strength, even with repeated use.

This tool will be perfect for detailed work, simplified hand sewing, attaching accessories, creating decorative patterns, or for jewelry, for example.

Choose the diameter you need from the available sizes of 1 to 4 mm.
The indicated diameter corresponds to the inner cutting diameter. As the bit is very thin, the outer diameter will be slightly larger.
The inner steel is very smooth to allow the cut washers to slide out, thus preventing the tool from clogging during use.

Usage tips :
- Strike the handle of the punch with a wooden or polymer mallet (steel hammers are not recommended). Use an ERTALON cutting block as a striking surface for perfect results.
- We recommend removing leather cut-outs after each use with a small metal rod (e.g., a blunt needle) to prevent clogging the evacuation channel.
- Do not use the punch on a metal surface as this may damage the cutting edge.
- The tool is delivered perfectly sharpened, but you can also facilitate cutting by applying a little beeswax to the cutting edge of the punch before each use.
