SCREW PUNCH CUTTER
This very high-quality Japanese steel bit is used with the Nonaka Screw Punch rotary punch (Ref. ). This item allows you to easily and silently create a perfectly round hole in leather, paper, cardstock, or fabric.
Each punch is hand-sharpened in Japan for a clean cut.
The Screw Punch is the original rotary punch created by Nonaka in Japan in 1977. Simply screw the bit onto the handle, then press the tool to make the bit rotate and create a round hole. A single press is enough to pierce even the thickest leathers. It is silent so it can be used anywhere, anytime.
The inner shape of the bit is conical to facilitate the evacuation of the cut material.
Dimensions :
- Hole diameter to choose from: 1 to 5 mm
- Bit length: approximately 16 mm
Tips :
- We recommend using an ERTALON cutting board for a clean cut and to avoid damaging the cutting edge of the punch.
- Do not use the punch on a metallic surface, as this may damage the cutting edge.
- To prevent the punch's evacuation channel from becoming clogged, we advise you to remove cut material regularly using a small metal rod (round-tipped needle, round awl, ...).
- You can also facilitate the tool's cutting by putting a little beeswax on the punch's cutting edge before each use.
Bit sold individually and alone (without the handle).
Cutting tool, keep out of reach of children.
Made in Japan by Nonaka.
