RADERMECKER LEATHER SAMPLE
This sample is made from natural Pykara collar leather from the Radermecker tannery. Natural Pykara collar is a full-grain, unpressed, uncorrected saddle leather with a smooth grain and flesh. This leather is milled with liquid oil emulsion to perfectly nourish the leather without giving it a greasy feel. This natural leather is ideal for embossing work and can also be used for hot stamping and hammering. Its structure makes it pleasant to cut and sew.

Characteristics of the natural Pykara collar:
Natural Pykara collar is fed with emulsion oil. This is a liquid oil feed that is added to the drums. Since it has no dye, natural Pykara collar can be dyed and slices made with slice dye.
The natural Pykara collar can be used for all leather goods, small leather goods and cutlery: belts, wallets, card holders, key rings, bags, satchels, pouches, bracelets, watch straps, desk pads, knife sheaths, dog and cat collars...
It can also be used in furniture, such as for the creation or restoration of chair or armchair seats in thick, rigid leather, for covering the work surface of an office or for covering the doors of a dressing room.
Care instructions for the natural Pykara collar:
Work the food in properly on both the grain and flesh sides. Once damp, you can dry the leather at room temperature. This will stiffen it, making it ideal for molding or embossing.
