Between metallic shine and the depth of black, this salmon leather offers a striking visual effect. Its gradient enhances the natural relief of the scales with great refinement and elegance.

The salmon leather from the Squama range comes from the French tannery Ictyos, which specializes in marine leather. It is an exceptional leather—thin, supple, with natural scales, and a tight, perfectly symmetrical grain. This fish leather is highly resistant to friction, water, and UV rays. Its properties, which are unique and incomparable to terrestrial leather, make it an easy material to work with and produce a highly satisfying visual result. This rare leather is highly sought after for ornamentation, leather goods, upholstery, watchmaking, and jewelry.

The gradient collection of the Squama range highlights the natural pattern of the scales by shading the relief and the background of the leather. Each scale is delicately enhanced, bringing out the full depth and luster of the leather's color. Thanks to a glossy finish, the leather benefits from a uniform hue and reinforced resistance. The entire surface is then plated to fix the scales and protect them from friction.

Available in two selections:
- Choice 1: Leather showing very few imperfections.
- Choice 2: Leather showing small defects or irregularities (holes, variations in shade, grain, dimensions, relief, etc.).

Available in two sizes:
- Medium: Total length is between 30 and 44 cm, width between 7 and 10 cm for the widest part and 4 cm minimum for the narrowest end.
- Large: Total length is between 44 and 70 cm, width between 10 and 20 cm for the widest part and 4 cm minimum for the narrowest end.

This salmon leather comes from a clearance batch. It has received the same treatments, finishes, and quality controls as our standard range. The only difference: it will not be restocked once the available quantity is sold out.

SALMON LEATHER CARE:
For maintenance, we recommend the Reptan cream from Saphir, reference WA024.
Hot stamping is not recommended on this type of leather.
