MULTIPURPOSE KNIFE FOR LEATHERWORKING
The half-moon knife is used to cut leather following a template and to refine/trim the leather.
This knife from the Vergez Blanchard brand has a cherry wood handle and a raw brass ferrule.
The hardened steel blade is thinned and cold-ground to maintain optimal mechanical properties. It can be sharpened many times. The edge is hand-ground to a very sharp, symmetrical bevel.

For optimal use, we recommend regularly refining the sharpening using a strop and sharpening paste (see video).
