HALF-MOON KNIFE FOR CUTTING AND SKIVING LEATHER
Half-moon skiving knives are very versatile and widely used tools for cutting and skiving both thin and thick leathers.The name Al Stohlman has always been a guarantee of quality in leathercraft. Once you master this tool, you won't be able to do without it! This knife has a stainless steel blade, double-ground, which allows it to glide easily over leather, even thick leather such as vegetable-tanned leather.
The high-strength steel blade comes pre-sharpened. To maintain its sharpness, we recommend regularly sharpening it using a strop and honing paste (see the video tab).
This tool has a wooden handle and a solid brass ferrule.
