Half-moon skiving knives are very versatile and widely used tools for cutting and skiving both thin and thick leathers.This knife features a high-strength D2 steel blade that glides easily through leather, even thick vegetable-tanned leather.
This tool is delivered very sharp with a wide double bevel. To maintain its edge, we recommend regular sharpening using a strop and sharpening paste (see video tab).
