This CRAFTOOL PRO opening knife is THE knife for professionals. It's an exceptional, high-quality tool made of stainless steel!
The opening knife, also called a swivel knife, is used to cut leather before embossing. Its slim (11 mm) swivel handle, mounted on ball bearings, and its ergonomic grip will ensure excellent grip. The handle is height-adjustable (simply unscrew the screws with the tool provided).

The blade is designed for regular use and will allow you to make precision cuts. It is easily changed by removing the screw using the tool provided (alloy key).
Contains a protective cap for the blade
The index finger is positioned on the stirrup, the thumb and middle finger on either side of the handle as if holding a pencil. With the index finger, we control the depth of the cut while the other fingers are used to rotate to make the desired shapes.
Thanks to the finger position and the pivoting handle, you can easily draw circles, angles, and curved lines. The finger rest is molded and ergonomic for greater comfort.
