This CRAFTOOL PRO opening knife is THE knife for professionals. It is an exceptional high quality tool that is made of stainless steel!
The knife to open, also called swivel or swivel knife, makes it possible to incise the leather before the work of repoussage. Its thin handle (11 mm), pivoting, mounted on ball bearings and its ergonomic handle will ensure excellent support. The handle is adjustable in height (just unscrew the screws with the tool provided).

The blade is designed for regular use and will allow you to make precision cuts. It can be changed easily by removing the screw using the tool provided (allen key).
Contains a protective cap for the blade The index is positioned on the stirrup, the thumb and the middle finger on each side of the handle as if to hold a pencil. With the index finger, you control the depth of the cut while the other fingers are used to rotate to make the shapes you want.
Thanks to the position of the fingers and the pivoting handle, one can easily draw circles, angles and curved lines. The finger support is molded and ergonomic for greater comfort.
