SWIVEL KNIFE 8002-01

The opening knife, also called a swivel knife, is used to score the leather before embossing. It is a metal tool with a sharp blade. The index finger is positioned on the stirrup, with the thumb and middle finger on either side of the handle, as if holding a pencil. The index finger controls the depth of the cut, while the other fingers are used to rotate the knife to create the desired shapes.

Tool dimensions :
- Height between the stirrup and the end of the blade: adjustable between 7.5 and 8.5 cm
- Handle diameter: 1.25 cm
- Total tool length: 9.5 cm

Supplied with a straight steel blade :
- Mounting diameter: 5.5 mm (7/32")
- Blade thickness: 2 mm
- Blade width: 9.5 mm (3/8")

The index finger stirrup is ergonomic, the smooth edge of the bow offers more comfort during engraving.

Thanks to the finger placement and the rotating handle, you can easily draw circles, angles, and curved lines. The handle is height-adjustable; simply unscrew it.

Includes a protective cap for the blade.
