BONE GLUE 200G OR 500G
Animal-based bone glue in brown beads.
This bone glue is an adhesive that allows you to stiffen or shape your leather. It will make your leather very resistant. You can also use it to glue wood, paper... This traditional and ancestral bone glue has many advantages:
- By completely impregnating your leather piece with the glue: you can shape the leather (the glue takes several hours to dry).
- It is reversible with heat: if necessary, it is possible to dissolve the bond by heating the pieces and then repositioning them correctly.
- Environmentally friendly glue: made from 100% recyclable and biodegradable proteins. Contains no solvent.
Instructions for use:
- Mix the beads with cold water (approximately 50g of beads for 450 ml of water). Stir regularly for the first 15 minutes, then let stand for about 12 hours.
- Melt this mixture in a bain-marie, stirring occasionally (do not boil the glue).
- The bone glue can be diluted with a little cold water if you need a larger quantity of glue.
- If you have used a dye, you can protect it with leather balm.
- Depending on your project, you can immerse your leather piece in the glue, leave it for a few minutes to allow it to soak in the glue, and then do your modeling. You can also apply the glue with a brush.
- Clean excess glue with a few drops of water and a cloth to avoid leaving marks when drying.
- Let dry for several hours.

- Viscosity at 60°C
- Gelling power: between 165 and 195 bloom
- PH: 5.5 / 6.5
In case of contact with skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water for at least 10 minutes.
In case of ingestion, drink water and consult a doctor.
Store in a dry place, at room temperature.
