TRANSFER PAPER FOR DRAWING ON LEATHER
This plastic layer will allow you to reproduce grids many times over on your leather, grids which will then allow you to position your different stamps to obtain well-aligned geometric patterns. It is only used with non-waterproofed vegetable tanned leather. Usage tips :
- After wetting your leather with a sponge, position the layer in the desired location, relief side on the leather.
- Transfer the chosen model by passing the smoother or the modeler over the drawing. It is necessary to press so that the design "prints" on the leather.
- Then work on your pattern using the open knife (on the solid lines) and using stamps on the dotted lines.
- Give color to your designs with opaque paints
