Easy assembly with a flat screwdriver.
Recommended thickness of leather for screwing: between 0.5 and 2.5 mm.
For a good hold of the collar button, we recommend the use of a collar button punch 6 mm for soft and thin leather or 8 mm for firmer leather.
Over time, brass can oxidize naturally and a "verdigris" type patina can appear. This is not a defect and can be cleaned with a product suitable for brass.
