Easy assembly with a flat-head screwdriver.
Recommended leather thickness for screwing: between 0.5 and 2.5 mm.
For good retention of the collar button, we recommend using a 6 mm collar button punch for soft and thin leather or an 8 mm punch for firmer leather.

Over time, brass can naturally oxidize, and a "verdigris" type patina may appear. This is not a defect and can be cleaned with a suitable brass cleaner.

The collar button is also known as a cartridge pouch stud or gogue ball.
