OVAL EQUESTRIAN BUCKLE FOR LEATHER STRAP
This oval-shaped brass buckle with a round pin is durable.
It is ideal for making halters, saddlery and riding items, dog accessories, etc.
Please note : This buckle is large and is designed for thick leather. If the leather is thin, there will be a lot of play.

To make it easier to pass the strap through and avoid damaging it, the axle is offset and the width measured at the axle is slightly smaller than the width measured at the edge of the buckle ("max internal width").
Example: In the presentation photo, a buckle with an internal width of 20 mm at the axis and a strap with a width of 20 mm were used.
Over time, brass can naturally oxidize and a verdigris patina may appear. This is not a defect and can be cleaned with a product suitable for brass.
