Double bar buckle for a leather strap with a maximum width of 28 mm .
It is suitable for making many riding or saddlery items: saddle, halter, girth, girth straps...
The bar under the prong is a useful reinforcement for parts subjected to high stress. It helps to solidify the loop and prevent the prong from moving.
Over time, brass can naturally oxidize and a verdigris-like patina may appear. This is not a defect and can be cleaned with a product suitable for brass.
