ROMAN BUCKLE WITH BRASS CLOVE
Pin buckle with clevis for leather lanyard.
The clevis is suitable for a 43 mm wide lanyard. However, the end of the lanyard must be shortened to a maximum of 32 mm to be able to pass through the loop.
The design and shape of this belt buckle recalls the style of the Roman era . It is ideal for making belts of historical inspiration (for re-enactments, life-size role-playing...).
This buckle is made in an artisan workshop in India using traditional manufacturing methods. It has some imperfections such as manufacturing traces which makes each loop unique. This gives it an authentic and aged look.
It has received a light additional protective film to prevent oxidation of the brass and retain its original color.

To mount the buckle: make 2 holes in the leather strap then fix the clevis with T3 rivets or peening rivets.
