This ingot of sharpening paste is mainly used in the final step of polishing stainless steel, brass, aluminum, nickel, and chrome.
FINE 9000 green grit: used for high-gloss polishing.

To "strop" your cutting tools, knife, or razor, achieve a perfectly sharp blade. To be used on a STROP: a wooden tool composed of a vegetable-tanned leather, grain side and flesh side.
The paste should be applied to the piece of leather (flesh side), previously oiled, by rubbing the stick vigorously.
Do not hesitate to heat the paste to spread it more easily on the leather.
Then, pass the blade over the leather, alternating front and back, following the cutting edge to progressively sharpen the steel of the blade.
