EQUESTRIAN EQUIPMENT REPAIR WORKSHOP

For one day, learn how to repair your equestrian equipment to improve safety, durability, and comfort for both horse and rider. Don't throw it away, repair it!

Level: beginner
Price: €120 including instruction and equipment loan.
Location: at our physical store in Campbon (44), located between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire in Loire-Atlantique.
Duration: from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Number of participants: 8 people maximum

Examples of possible work:
- Re-stitching a partial or complete seam
- Replacing buckles and snap hooks
- Repairing bridles, halters, and training aids
- Replacing girth straps
- Reinforcing stressed parts
- Repairing straps

On the program:
- Study of items to be repaired, identification of parts to be replaced.
- Presentation and practical application of sewing techniques.
- Safety advice and inspection of seams and fastenings.
- Repair of items.
- Advice on leather care

Our trainer, Eléna Tournabien, is a saddler who works with passion and respect for traditions. She will be attentive to your needs and can answer all your questions. The training program remains flexible and will be adapted to the needs of the trainees.

Specific conditions for participation:
- Before registering: send a photo of the item to be repaired to magasin@decocuir.com, so that our trainer can validate the feasibility of the repair. A repair deemed too complex for the scope of the training may be refused.
- Check the availability of necessary replacement parts at Deco Cuir or acquire them before D-Day.

What you will need to bring:
- Your equipment to be repaired. The number of items to bring will depend on the time required for each repair. If some work cannot be completed on site, the trainer can give you the necessary advice to finish it yourself later.
- Your lunch: a refrigerator and a microwave will be available (as well as a dining area).

The little extra: The Deco Cuir store is accessible during the training. A 15% discount is offered on all your in-store purchases on D-Day: take advantage of it to leave with all the equipment you need.

Information:
- If you add the "paper catalog" (free) to your order in the cart, shipping costs will be charged. We advise you to wait until the day of the training to discover it.
- If the number of participants is insufficient, DECO CUIR reserves the right to cancel the training.
- Any cancellation notified at the latest three weeks before the internship will not result in any refund unless another trainee takes the available place.
