This inexpensive round awl is a very useful and versatile tool for your leather hand sewing projects! It allows you to enlarge a hole, make the beginnings and stops of sewing, iron the thread of a seam or even draw a line.
It is not designed to make a hole.
The handle is made of wood with 2 flat sides and a steel ring.
The blade is made of hardened steel.
